My boyfriend had tried to talk me into moving to his city to live with him in his condo at parc life ec for three years. Up until recently, we had a long distance relationship. He really is a great person, but I didn’t want to rush to leave the job that I had put so much hard work and dedication into. I met my boyfriend the same week that I landed that job. Within six months of dating, he found that he needed to move to Singapore for work. I knew that it was best to stay put since the two of us are not married. I wanted to follow my heart and go with him, but I knew that I needed to rely on good logic and wait.
We have a good relationship, but is was not easy dating someone long distance. They say that absence makes the heart grow fonder, and I believe that is true. We kept in touch with the help of video chats every week. We also texted one another often throughout each day, too. During one of our video chats, I learned that my boyfriend would need to stay where he is for work for another four years. This bothered me, and I told him exactly that. He immediately told me that he was ready for the two of us to be married and together full-time. After three years of long distance dating, I was finally ready to say yes.
This is my first marriage, and I am pretty happy about it all. We get along great. Now that I have moved to live with him, he is doing all that he can to help me get settled in and feel comfortable in my new city. Now that I have some good work experience under my belt, I should be able to find a job easily here. I plan to take a month off to get to know the area first.
